Our 7-step waterproofing process (what you can expect)

Is grout waterproof?
No. Grout is porous; the membrane underneath is what stops water migrating into the substrate. (This is exactly why standards exist.)

Can you fix a leaking shower without removing tiles?
Sometimes short-term surface treatments help, but if the membrane has failed or there’s movement, proper repair usually requires tile removal to address substrate, junctions, and the membrane.
